KORN Cancel Amsterdam Concert
June 11, 2006According to MetalRage.com, KORN have just cancelled their previously announced June 13 headlining appearance at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, Holland. The reason for this cancellation is the illness of KORN frontman Jonathan Davis. It should be noted, however, that support act HATEBREED will now play a headlining show at the Melkweg in Amsterdam on June 13.
The Amsterdam concert is the second consecutive cancellation for KORN, who were supposed to play in Dublin, Ireland today (June 11) for the Download Festival 2006.
Davis was admitted to a hospital in London for undisclosed reasons, forcing him to miss the band's appearance at U.K.'s Download Festival, which took place Saturday (June 10) at Donington Park.
KORN performed a shortened 30-minute set on the main stage of Day 2 of the Download Festival with various guests filling in on vocals, including singers from SLIPKNOT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DEVILDRIVER and TRIVIUM.
